They found my blog

My wife found out I blog, Was not real happy that she found out from our daughter. I told her that I was just playing around, trying to figure out what to write and not write. She is still upset.
My boy has not said what his thoughts are on the whole thing. You know, I said from the beginning that this will be more or less my thoughts on things. Besides you have to be registered to comment on other peoples blogs, so why not just put some of your own thoughts on here.
Having said all that its been slow at work and at the house. The grand kids left to go the Kelly's parents house for a week. Lisa went back to the camp. House all quiet for now. Jeff, Kelly and the grand kids will be back for a couple of days next week, than they go back to Texas.
Its been a fun Christmas this year. My oldest grandson, Alex did a great job reading the Christmas story from the Bible this year. He loves to read and it shows. The best that I can figure everyone got what they wanted and or needed. Got to go for now.

3rd Part

Today Jeff is the head women's soccer coach at Midwestern State University in Texas. Lisa is the food service director at Camp Forest springs in Westboro, Wis. My wife works in a scrapbook store and I'm a plant manager. Jeff and his wife Kelly, have 3 boys Alec 11, Evan 8 and Owen 22 months. Lisa is not married at this time but just got a boy friend, so we will see how that works out.
Right now life is not to bad. Could be a whole lot worse. And has been at times but nobody died and everyone loves the lord so you can't ask for anymore.
I know this is in all reverse of what it should be but this whole thing is about my thoughts on different things in life. I don't pretend to be gifted in writing or expressing my thoughts. I just let them come out the way they are in my mine. Thanks for reading.

Met my wife at the bank than after one date didn't come around again for 3 mouths. Drinking got out of hand, could tell that if I kept it up I was not going to make it, had the habit bad. Called up the women I dated 3 mouths ago. She lived at home with her parents. I was the oldest of 9 kids she was only child. I left home to join service never went back. She was christian I was catholic or used to be. She had a self steam problem, I knew I could do anything I wanted to.
Independent and hard headed was more my life style. But drinking was getting the better of me. So I quite. Only way Sandra would date me was if I went to church with her. Sunday morning, Sunday night and on Wednesday sometimes. Accepted Christ in October 1968. Got married May 10 1969. Had 2 kids Jeff and Lisa. To be continued

Cliff notes of my life

Oldest of 9 kids, 16 years between me and my youngest brother. Born and raised catholic. My dad was a otr truck driver, mother was housewife. When I was 10 years old I started delivering newspapers. At 12 started caddying at the golf course. Went to work on the golf course racking sand traps, worked 25 to 50 hours a week and went to school. After I got out of school I went full time on the course. Started drinking a lot. Brought a new car [1964 Ford Galaxy 500 bright red] Was engaged, broke up joined the marine core, couldn't pass the physical [low blood pressure, flat feet]. Volunteered for the draft, Army had no problem with my blood pressure or flat feet. Went into the airborne jumped 11 times. Went to Vietnam. Not a good experience. Came out with a attitude. Totaled the car, went to work at Harris corp, 2ed shift assembler. When not working stayed drunk. Didn,t care if the sun came up or not. No friends didn,t want any. To be continued.

Second Monday in a row

Its been one of those days where you just close your eyes, than you think about the day and think its Monday. Just a nasty day all day. Only good thing about today was the men,s bible study this morning. Every Tues morning at 6:30 7-10 of us men in the church have bible study, been meeting for the last 5-6 years. It was very good this morning. Just goes to show you it all depends on what you focus on. after the bible study I went to work and forgot every thing we talked about in the study. We talked about turning things over to God, well I failed that just after I got to work.
But tomorrow is another day. I just hope it goes better. My daughter will be in Sat. from Wis. that will be fun to see her

Its a monday

Its Monday 12-10-07, 2 weeks until Christmas eve. Funny how time goes when you get old, it seemed like yesterday I was getting ready for spring.
Church went well yesterday, not many people, it was suppose to be icier but never happened. But that is all it takes for some people not to come. Just talk about bad weather and they will stay home.
This has been one of those weekends where I was every where but didn't get a thing done. I bought this and that went here and there never got a thing done. But that's alright to. It was relaxing, no pressure. And God knows my life is all about pressure.

Fixing the first blog

Being brand new at this I loaded my first blog with bad spelling and nothing in the post field.
If anyone ever reads this they will come to understand that I'am not a great speller.
All that being said, sometimes I will have very little to say or I will not be able to express it well.
